To nothing
It was a vintage with normal temperatures, although the high temperatures in July stand out, suggesting an advance in the ripening of the grapes. The international varieties were much more affected by this anomalous increase compared to the native varieties, which were able to withstand the climatic adversities of the moment. Overall, it was a healthy vintage with good quality grapes.
Winemaking
Harvest in small boxes of 10 Kg with double selection of the grape, manual and optical. Natural yeasts from our own vineyards have been used, which has allowed us to delve into the typicity of our varieties and land. Fermented in 7,000L and 10,000L stainless steel and cement tanks, at a maximum fermentation temperature of 28oC. Maceration of between 15 and 20 days. Malolactic is carried out in cement tanks.
Breeding
It is aged in French and American oak barrels for a period of 13 months.
