Coming from the "La Encina" estate at 975m altitude, the vines are planted with a north-south orientation, so that the leaves and fruit receive sunlight from morning to night. Soil surface with a clayey composition and a rocky subsoil that give the Syrah grapes from "La Encina" complexity and a certain minerality. Among the vines, a solitary oak that we wanted to respect when we planted and that has become the symbol of this small vineyard. Under its branches and among the vines, small roe deer seek shade in summer.

CATA'S NOTES
Intense and bright ruby red color.
Its elegant bouquet reveals the great complexity of aromas that the wine presents, surprising the nose with the duality of intensity and delicacy of all of them. Its immense bouquet offers clear notes of black fruit, blackberry jam and red plum, which combine perfectly with the contribution of the aging in the form of vanilla, sparkles of tobacco leaf, toffee, balsamic touches and surprising floral nuances intertwined with memories. of black pepper and cocoa, providing the whole with an original aromatic complexity, capable of exciting the most demanding nose.
Its passage through the palate is a true reflection of what is experienced on the nose. The intensity of the fruit, together with the sweet tannins, make it a pleasant, elegant, smooth, harmonious wine with a persistent aftertaste that helps to keep alive the pleasant memory of the sensations expressed.
