VITICULTURE:
– Location: Cadreita, Villafranca and Caparroso.
– Soil: The vineyards are located on alluvial terraces of the Ebro and Aragón rivers. They have a high content of coarse elements (rounded stones), which together with a frank texture makes their drainage capacity very good. Balanced in their chemical composition, with a correct distribution of macro and micro elements, as well as an adequate level of organic matter.
– Climate: Very extreme, going from very cold winters to very hot summers, reaching minimum temperatures of up to –14 ºC and maximum of up to 42 ºC. Precipitation is very scarce, a historical average of 380 l/m2 per year, located mainly in spring and autumn.
VINIFICATION:
The whole grape ferments for 10 days at 25ºC, after which the wine is bled, finishing the alcoholic fermentation without the presence of pomace.
CATA'S NOTES:
Colour: Medium-high layer wine, ruby red.
Nose: Clean and intense nose. Aromas of red and black fruit.
Mouth: Round, full-bodied, clearly appreciating the varieties that compose it. Persistent and balanced.
