Sweet Monkey Aniseed
Volume: 700 ml
Alcohol degree: 35º
The Sweet Anise of the Monkey contains in its composition only matalahúva (anise seed), from which the essential oil that provides the product's characteristic bouquet is extracted. Chemically pure water, refined and filtered sugar syrup, and alcohol. The distillation process is carried out in copper stills, originals from the 19th century.
Another of the emblems of Anís Dulce del Mono is its bottle. It was on a trip to Paris, when Vicente Bosch fell in love with a bottle of perfume that he gave to his wife. After asking the perfumer for the rights to the container, in 1902 he registered it by putting the famous label with the monkey.
You can drink it with water and ice, a typical mix from Levante. Mixed with Anís del Mono, lemon juice, water and ice you can enjoy the “Paloma” from Eastern Andalusia. Another option is to mix it with brandy in the rich “Sol y Sombra” or add it to coffee to sweeten it.
- View: In view, it is a transparent and bright drink.
- Nose: The nose is perceived with a soft and full aroma.
- Mouth: In the mouth its flavor is sweet and persistent.
