Tanqueray London Dry Gin offers a perfect balance between four plants: juniper, coriander, angelica and liquorice. It goes through four distillations to remove any traces of neutral grain liquor and allow the flavors of four classic plants present in the gin to shine through.
History
Tanqueray London Dry Gin was first made in 1830 and has since won numerous awards, including the recent accolade from The World's 50 Best Bars (Drinks International Magazine Brand Report 2016). It was named the most influential gin, the best-selling gin and the favorite liquor of bartenders thanks to the versatility it offers.
Tanqueray London Dry Gin was created by the brand's founder, Charles Tanqueray, in 1830, and is still made from the same classic and timeless recipe today. The emblematic silhouette of its bottle is inspired by a three-piece cocktail shaker that became popular during the Prohibition era, in the 1920s. The pineapple, which represented the greatest possible gesture of hospitality in England in 1830, is part of the Tanqueray family coat of arms and decorates each and every Tanqueray Distilling Company bottle.
